Spring 2012: Lancôme Roseraie Des Delices.
/Another spring collection that just has your senses warming up to spring is this new one from Lancôme. It is called Roseraie Des Delices, created by Aaron De Mey.
Roseraie Des Delices is inspired by a rose garden on a balmy, tranquil afternoon. The beautiful collection features blush, eyeshadow palettes, and lip colors in soft pinks and greens. Did I say it was beautiful? Yes. It. Is.
De Mey hoped to capture the palette of summer nature, translating water, sun and sky into makeup shades that illuminate both sun-kissed and fair complexions. I said he did an amaing job, as the pastels are woven together like not much we have seen in the past from Lancôme.
The sophisticated collection includes the following products:
Cheeks
La Roseraie Illuminating Powder - $42.00
Multi-color powder blush embossed with a delicate rose
Eyes
Color Design 5 Pan Shadow and Liner Palette - $49.00
- Rose Romance
- Vert Tendresse
Lips
Le French Touch Absolu Nu - $35.00
- Cotton Candy – Sheer pink lipstick in playful ornate packaging
L’Absolu Nu Replenishing & Enhancing Lipcolor - $29.50
- Rose Petal
- Sweet Marmalade
Color Fever Gloss - $26.00
- Green Petal
- Tangerine Petal
- Rose Petal
The Vert Tendresse is so beautiful, especially if you love wearing soft green shades. I could see this as a favorite amongst my red haired friends.
The gloss in Green Petal is deceiving, so do not let the look in the tube fool you. As you can see in the swatch, it is a very glossy, slightly mother-of-pearl glossy with pretty flecks of shimmer. It is gorgeous, especially over a pink lipstick.
