Summer Makeup from Laura Geller Starring Baked Liquid Radiance Foundation.
/Laura Geller is known for her baked makeup products and she has three new baked products that I am totally obsessed with. Two of the products are gorgeous palettes; one eyeshadow palette called Wearables Color Story Baked Eyeshadow Palette and one for color and contour called Baked Color & Contour. Simply put, they are beautiful and you are going to want to check out both, but I am super excited to share with you an industry first - a baked liquid foundation. Laura has outdone herself by launching Baked Liquid Radiance Foundation which is pretty much a game changer. It's a trio of baked goodness that will have you looking gorgeous this spring and summer guaranteed!
First thing is first, I have to tell you all about the Baked Liquid Radiance Foundation ($38).
This is a full-coverage, weightless liquid foundation that has the same color-correcting pigments that Laura Geller is known for. It undergoes a multi-step process in Italy before being baked on terracotta tiles to achieve the perfect cream texture that wears all day and gives skin a naturally radiant and beautiful look. It is made up with 40% water, Vitamin E, essential oils and Aloe Vera so it is very moisturizing so it glides over lines and pores and never settles. It looks so natural and is so forgiving. The coverage is buildable yet full, if that makes sense. It is not mask looking full coverage, it is natural looking full coverage. You do not need a lot of the foundation and it feels very weightless on the skin. It comes in nine shades from Porcelain to Deep and I am using the shade medium and it is a great match for my NC30 shaded skin.
Now for the palettes, which are perfect for spring and summer and great for travel too.
Laura Geller Wearables Color Story Baked Eyeshadow Palette ($42) is an all-in-one palette with 12 beautiful baked shadows that contains everyday shadows that range from warm neutrals to cool hues for the ultimate eye looks that can be mixed and matched. I love that they are super creamy yet soft and have really deep color pigments. The great thing about baked shadows is that they can be used wet or dry, so if you want even richer color payoff, use them wet. I love using the darker shades as liner.
Laura Geller Baked Color & Contour ($45) is a very large palette that has baked complexion products to bronze, brighten, highlight and contour. The main part of the palette features Laura's best selling Bronze-n-Brighten which gives skin a warm, sun-kissed glow but also helps to create a bit of definition on the skin when used as a contour. Also included is Baked Brulee Blush, which is a pretty soft cherry pink that should just be applied to the apples of the cheeks, and a low-glow Baked Highlighter that can be blended on tops of the cheekbones and other high points of the face to illuminate. This palette is gorgeous and the colors are soft and don't lead to an over contoured look.
