Summer Makeup Haul!
/With summer right around the corner, I have been on the hunt for some great summer makeup to plan my makeup look. In the summer, I am not about a complicated makeup look; I keep it light and simple with bronzer, nude shades on the eyes, mascara and a pretty summer lip. Take a look at my recent summer makeup haul.
For my cheeks, I picked up tarte's Park Ave Princess Contour Palette. This palette features one of my favorite bronzers, Park Ave Princess, a beautiful matte bronzer that looks gorgeous and natural on the cheeks. It adds a beautiful warmth to the face. It is coupled with an Amazonian Clay Blush in Posh, a pretty natural Pale Pink that is perfect for summer, and Amazonian Clay Highlighter in Champagne Gold that adds just the perfect amount of shimmer to the tops of my cheeks.
For my eyes, I knew I had to have the new L'Oréal Paris La Palette Nude as soon as I saw it. This palette contains ten silky soft nude shades that range from light to dark so mastering the art of the nude eye look for summer is a cinch. The shadows are rich and well pigmented and last all day. I like using the darker shades as liner, which is a perfect soft look for summer. I finish off the eye look with the new Roller Lash from Benefit Cosmetics. I was really anxious to try this mascara because my lashes are pretty hard to hold a curl and this one promises lasting curl power. It lives up to the hype. Roller Lash features a really unique brush that has tiny hooks wedged down deep into the brush to catch lashes so that when you "roll" the brush up along lashes, they are caught and curled upward. Lashes are lengthen and curled, giving eyes are really wide-eyed opened up look. The formula is really black and the curl holds in place all day. I'm obsessed.
Lastly, I bought Yves Saint Laurent Volupté Tint-In-Oil in Peach Me Love. These new lip tints are my latest faves and I have been eyeing this bright peach shade for summer for a few moths and I finally bought it; it is the perfect shade for summer. This lip tint is so cool - it leaves a little bit of a stain on the lips though it is suspended in an oil that instantly melts into the lips. It leaves a really glossy look on the lips with a slight tint that is beautiful.
When I shop for beauty products online, I like to save money. Saving money is fun so I can spend even more money on makeup. I shopped for some of the products in this haul by using ShopAtHome.com, an online coupon and Cash Back site that partners with thousands of online retailers and more than 60 million members to deliver savings and rewards. The site includes many of my favorite beauty retailers including Macy's, Sephora and Nordstrom, where I got up to 14% cash back.
