Tarte Poppy Picnic Collection for Summer.

Tarte is inspired by the sunny and bright floral hues of the hottest season of the year and they have created a super cute collection to match it. Even though spring has just started, I had to share this summer beauty. With limited edition packaging and an eye and cheek palette that takes center stage with sun-kissed shades, this collection is ready to take you full into summer mode. Get me there now! I am really liking the overall look of the collection to start with. It screams summer. I can't get enough of the packaging!

As I said, the center of the collection is the Poppy Picnic ltd ed Amazonian Clay Eye & Cheek Palette ($38). Celebrating the fun florals of summer, this beauty has the perfect shade of summer blush that will work with all complexions to accent your pretty faux glow along with six matte shadows for a gorgeous summer eye look. And if you haven't tried Tarte's matte formula, you need to get on it; these are not your average matte shadows. The Amazonian clay infused shadows nourish the lids as the shadow glides on, never lays flat and provides long-lasting, full on color. It looks natural and beautiful. It looks more natural, almost satin than matte. I call it a natural matte. The shades include an all over, highlight, lid, crease and liner shade - everything you need in this stunner of a palette.

I am also really excited about the ltd ed Lights, Camera, Lashes Precision Longwear Eyeliner ($24). I had never tried the brands long lasting 12 hour liquid liner and it's really good, especially in this limited deep-brown shade that coordinated perfectly with the Poppy Picnic Palette. It features and ultra-thin and very flexible tip that moves perfectly over the lid - so simple that I can even do it.

The collection also includes four new shades of LipSurgence Lip Crèmes ($24 each). These creamy lipcolors are highly pigmented and last forever. I highly recommend them!
