I’m so excited because I just landed to my favorite place which means I am settled in with warmer weather — woo hoo! I hate the cold. Now that the boys are back in college and life has gotten back to normal after the holidays, it is time for me to spend time at our home in Florida.

I am loving the warmth of sun on my skin and being able to take early morning walks without being all bundled up.

Do you have a winter getaway planned?

I swear that the hardest part of traveling is packing the beauty bag. The makeup, skincare and haircare products that I pack for a long weekend or a few weeks away is HARD.

Between the plane and temperature difference, my skin suffers, too. I need products that are hydrating and nourishing.

This year I packed some of my favorite rose-infused skintreats from Pixi. These skintreats are PERFECT to take with me as they are packed with hydrating ingredients like rose oil and different good-for-the-skin extracts to keep my already dry skin from becoming more dry as I travel.

Here are a few of the products (all from Pixi) that I will be taking with me on my winter getaway.

To remove my makeup I will be bringing along the Pixi Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloths. I love the little travel pack that holds just ten cloths. I also am bringing along the Rose Cream Cleanser to further cleanse my skin. This is made with Rose & Chamomile Flower to effectively cleanse skin and keep is nourished and hydrated as it gently removes all leftover makeup, dirt, oil and impurities. It smells SO good too.

I regularly use Pixi Glow Tonic, but sometimes using a lot of glycolic acid when my skin is already really dry is not such a great things. I’m switching that out for the Pixi Rose Tonic. This is a nourishing toner that is made with rose and elderflower.

Pixi has a few different moisturizers and I am bringing two with me — one for day and one for night. For daytime, I am using the Pixi Rose Oil Blend that I told you about last week in my face oil post. For nighttime, I I am using Pixi Rose Ceramide Cream. This cream is formulated with skin-loving ingredients that nourish the skin. I love that it includes ceramides to provide time-released moisture overnight.

I love that I can pick up all my Pixi favorites right in Target, and if I run our of anything while traveling, I am pretty sure there will be a Target nearby to re-stock.
