Evan Rachel Wood looked very Hollywood glam at tonights Golden Globe Awards. Her beautiful makeup was done by Toby Fleischman for NARS Cosmetics. Evan's hair look was styled by Marcus Francis.

Inspiration:
"Sometimes the stars just align (pun intended) and tonight with nominee Evan Rachel Wood, her look came together so organically. Of course with a Gucci Premiere gown such as hers, it was all about the dress so we wanted to keep the make up clean and soft.
When I saw the new NARS Spring collection, it was as if the products were created specifically for this look! We had so much fun getting ready for the big day. We rocked out to some of our favorite tunes (Lykke Li), ate some yummy snacks (cookies of course) and most importantly laughed!"
The Look:
Paramaribo Duo Eyeshadow (new for Spring 2012) was the exact gilded gold and bronze we wanted to create a soft metallic eye that would pick up the accent of the feathers. Then we used Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara on the lashes to finish the eye (ok maybe more than one coat!).
To keep the rest of the face feminine, the new NARS Gaiety Blush (new for Spring 2012) was amazing for a sheer flush of pink on the cheek along with a swipe of good-old standby NARS Angelika Blush to add a bit of shimmer.
NARS Sex Machine Velvet Matte Lip Pencil topped off with Como Larger Than Life Lip Gloss gave Evan a soft mauve pink lip to complete the look.

Beauty Inspiration:
"Evan's Gucci gown was a show stopping moment waiting to happen on Sunday. To not compete but compliment the overall look we wanted to keep the hair classic Hollywood, of course with her signature modern edge."
Get the Look:
"One week before the awards, I got Evan started on a hair treatment plan: every other day of Rene Furterer Karite Intense Nourishing Oil for pre-shampoo moisture restoration, and Karite Intense Nourishing Mask done after the shampoo. This help illuminate her new creamy blonde hair when on the red carpet at the Golden Globes.
The day of the awards, I sprayed Phyto Volume Actif on wet hair from roots to ends. I first blew dry the hair in the direction I wanted the style using my hands working in the product to build a thick, movable texture. For a little more hold, I cocktailed the Phyto spray with Living Proof Full Thickening Mousse applied to the entire head, this time using a 1/2" bristle round brush. Using a 3/4" curling iron, I wrapped medium size sections on the top of the head to set in the volume with a little bend on the ends. This helps to look in the texture and fullness added by the products.
I gently brushed back the top and molded the shape, connecting it to the sides and back and keeping the volume, especially in the front. To modernize with Evan's style, I used Davines Glossy Modeling Putty to rake back the sides with my fingers and polish up the back. I pinched horizontal sections with the Putty to show texture in Evan's blonde hair and to tighten the sides for a goddess like structure. When the style was complete, I lightly sprayed it with Oribe Superfine Hair Spray."
