10 Must-Haves from the MAC Shiny Pretty Things Holiday Makeup Collection

The MAC Holiday Collection is here. In fact, it has been here for a few weeks now and I was a lucky few to preview the collection. I received a selection of the products and I am smitten with the kaleidoscopic of Shiny, Pretty, Things.

This years MAC Holiday Makeup Collection is a beautiful sparkly collection that was built for the party season. If you are looking to include products like a new shiny pretty shadow or high-intensity glitter eye-shadow, then this collection is one for you.

I have 10 must-haves, including specific shade selections, that I suggest looking at. These are all from the Shiny Pretty Things Holiday Makeup Collection. My gift picks will be in my upcoming gift guide, set to launch next week.

1. Extra Dimension Skinfinish: Oh Darling
   The bow print is just the icing on the cake because this metallic gold skinfinish powder is so silky soft and beautiful on the skin that I know it will be a favorite for a longtime to come.

2. Lipglass: Caketop
   With that name along, I knew that I would be loving it. I love that this is almost holographic on the lips with a pinky peach good-on-all-skintones shade. It has a beautiful shimmer to it that is out of this world. I love wearing this on top of a nude lip color to kick it up a notch.

3. Shiny Pretty Things Eye Party: Smoky
   I love how this 9-pan eyeshadow palette includes everything from a neutral silver to an intense matte black making a simple smoky eye for the holiday season (and beyond) a breeze. The pigmentation is extremely rich and the shadows are beyond silky. and beautifully blendable.

4. Dazzleliner: Holiday Time
   I am a sucker for a gold liquid liner on top of a bold black liner, especially during the holiday season and this shade is just perfect for that. This one has a bit of a pink shimmer to it and the end result is GORGEOUS.

5. Lipstick: At Leisure
   I am a sucker for anything creamy pink and this lipstick is definitely a pretty creamy pink with a beige undertone. It has a gold pearl finish to it that is just beautiful.

6. Lipglass: Scarcely Seen
   This light beige pink lipglass is a barely there shimmer on its own, but I have been using it as the perfect gloss topper for that extra bit of glossy pearl. It’s that one you definitely want in your collection if you like glossy and shimmer on your lips.

7. Extra Dimension Skinfinish: Snowflushed
   I knew that I would be including both shades of the Extra Dimension Skinfinishes in my picks. They are both BEYOND beautiful (look at the photo above) and I know that I will be reaching for this one time and time again. I think that Snowflushed is better for lighter skin tones with its metallic bronze pink shading.

8. Dazzleliner: A Little Moonlight
   This is another liquid liner fav. This one is a true black but it has a bit of silver and gold pearl to it that reflects off the eye in just the right light.

9. Shiny Pretty Shadow: Joy To
   This Grey Brown Shimmer shade is going to be the single shade you want to pick up that will go with any of the neutrals in your current shadow collection to create a soft smoky eye. I swatched it in store and it’s a winner.

10. Lipglass: Ice Orchid
    The last of the more neutral shades, I am loving Ice Orchid. This one is a cool pink and it looks great on both dark and light skin tones.
