I knew that MAC had teamed up with beauty guru Patrick Starr sometime before the holidays, but what I did not know was that it was a holiday collection. Well, shame on me. I just received the MAC x Patrick Starr collection very late last week, so I assumed that the collection was up and coming — I feel like I am the last to know. Apparently, the collection is out now and I have to say that after playing with the new neutral-hued products for a few days that you need to take a look at these beauties and pick up what you want before these limited edition items are gone.
Beauty guru PATRICKSTARRR brings his inspiring “Makeup is a one-size-fits-all” philosophy to life through his new collection at M·A·C! The beauty star makes waves with these mesmerizing custom-colour essentials to make everyone and anyone easily feel their best this holiday season! Specially designed in silver and white packaging with a sparkling holographic signature.
By now you should know that I am all about any type of neutral makeup and that's what this collection is. These products are very universal and can be worn by just about anyone — gotta love that.
The MAC x Patrick Starr collection has two wear-with-anything Eye Shadow X 4 palettes (both brown/gold toned) along with three lipstick, lip pencils and lipglasses.
The starrr product is the specially packaged Patrickstarrr Set Powder that can be used on face or body to set makeup.
The face powder is coulourless and does a beautiful job at not only setting makeup, but it blurs away shine, pores and wrinkles leaving my skin with an airbrushed finish. I am really liking this product.
You know how much I love me some lippies and so does Patrick, that is why the collection includes three perfectly coordinated lip products. Mamastarrr and She Betta Werrk will be in my makeup bag rotation for a long time to come as they are definitely my colors.
Buy the MAC x Patrick Starrr collection at maccosmetics.com, MAC stores and counters in department stores like Nordstrom and Macy's now.
