Glow All Summer Long with Clarisonic and Urban Decay.
/Whether you're staying in or traveling this summer, glowing without looking like you tried too hard is the key to your summer look. Glow all season long with the right products. I'm not just talking makeup — it starts with your skin. I'm using products from Clarisonic and Urban Decay to glow all summer long.
Skin
To glow, skin needs to be in top condition, thoroughly cleansed and radiant on its own. I depend on my Clarisonic skin cleansing devices every day. For summer travel, I am bringing the new Clarisonic Mia FIT ($189) with me. With a super sleek, new modern shape that fits comfortably in the palm of my hand, the Mia FIT removes everything from everyday impurities like dirt and oil to sunscreen and makeup. It removes all of these things and cleanses the skin 6X better than washing skin with just hands alone. It works because of patented sonic technology that oscillates the brush head back and forth at over 300 movements per second. Skin can't help but glow being that clean!
Face
For my face, I like Urban Decay NAKED Skin One & Done ($34). This primer-like skin perfector is a hybrid complexion perfector that comes in six shades. It's very lightly tinted with little coverage; that feels like a primer with a hint of tint, but not as much as a tinted moisturizer. It smooths and blurs away imperfections to give skin an airbrushed, perfected look that is perfect for summer.
Cheeks
The cheeks are one area you want to concentrate your glow. I always start with a bronzer, as you should, especially in the summer. I love Urban Decay Beached Bronzer ($28) to start. It's a beautiful silky powder bronzer that warms up the skin in either Sun-Kissed for more fair skin or Bronzed for medium or darker skin tones. This bronzer leaves such a perfect bronzed glow that radiates the look of the real sun. Next, I layer Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Highlighter ($26) on top of my cheeks for a beautiful, soft strobing effect. There are three shades to choose from, but to accent a tan, Fireball is best. This powder highlighter is so finely milled and soft that it feels almost creamy to create the perfect glow — never too shimmery.
Eyes
Yes, you want to bring attention to the eyes with a bit of glow too. Use Urban Decay 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil in Walk of Shame ($20) to brighten eyes. This waterproof, all-day wear pencil comes in the perfect nude shade that seriously wakes up your look when you line your inner rim. 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Heartless ($20) is the perfect light frosted pink that is great for highlighting the inner corner of the eye and brow bone. The gives eyes a beautiful glow and wide awake look.
