I’m all about keeping it lighter in the summer, especially when it comes to my makeup. Less makeup, less steps… yes! BUT, it still needs to look good, just not overly done.

The complete name of the product is Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte with SPF 40 Poreless Finish Full Coverage Cream and I love that it includes SPF, and it definitely is full coverage to totally cover imperfections and even out skin tone, while keeping skin looking real. It comes in 12 shades.
To apply the CC+ Cream, the collection includes a newer brush, the Heavenly Skin Skin-Hugging Foundation Brush No. 707. If you tried the Confidence in a Foundation earlier this year or read my post about that, you may remember that the brush debuted when that foundation launched. This brush features a unique brush head that hugs the contours of your face to flawlessly apply all of your complexion products like the CC+ Cream.
The collection rounds out with two IT Cosmetics’ fan favorites, the Je Ne Sais Quoi Hydrating Color Awakening Lip Treatment and the Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara. Read more about those here.
I wanted to share that I have been using CC+ Cream Matte a bit different since I first tried it last summer. Because I am such a big fan of the original CC+ Cream and use that often too, I decided to try and mix both formulas. I am older and have very dry skin so I wanted the best of both worlds, well formulas. I do a pretty much 50/50 ratio and mix 1/2 pump (trying not to pump it all out) of each formula and blend it together in the palm of my hand, then apply. I just LOVE the natural finish — not too glowy, not too matte.
