I am a HUGE Disney fan; my family and I love all things Disney, especially Walt Disney World (we even have annual passes!). When I hear of a Disney and beauty brand collaboration, I get extra excited, because you all know that beauty is my passion. When LORAC sent me the brand new Beauty and the Beast Collection to try, I just had to dig in and share with you right away. Just looking at the beautiful collection had my mind waltzing into a romantic journey.
The Beauty and the Beast makeup collection includes a Pro Eye Shadow Palette with 16 shadows, a Cheek Palette with four shades of blush and highlighter, plus a Lipstick and Lip Gloss collection, each with five pieces.
LORAC Beauty and the Beast PRO Eyeshadow Palette - $48
All of the shades in this palette are exclusive and new to this palette. I love the PRO formula; very soft, silky and easy to apply. The shadows are well pigmented, glide onto the eye with ease and blend well. Even without a primer, these eyeshadows last. There are 16 shades in the palette:
- Impress (dark mahogany matte)
- Romance (burgundy matte)
- Chip In (rose cream matte)
- Tick Tock (true mauve matte)
- Enchanting (blush gold shimmer)
- Look Beyond (tawny matte)
- My Castle (spiced bronze shimmer)
- Time Keeper (cool bronze shimmer)
- Inner Beauty (pink peony matte)
- Our Guest (stone grey matte)
- Tea Time (antiqued silver shimmer)
- Dream It (iced gold shimmer)
- Swept Up (black shimmer)
- Spell Breaker (warm espresso shimmer)
- Beast Mode (midnight blue shimmer)
- Real You (fairytale pink shimmer)
LORAC Beauty and the Beast Cheek Palette - $28
This cheek palette is rose-inspired and it also includes four new and exclusive shades. There are matte shades that go on for the most natural look but can be layered with any of the shimmers for a soft, subtle glowing look. The shades include:
- See Beyond (rich mauve shimmer)
- Fearless (soft gold shimmer)
- Enchanted (petal pink matte)
- Rose (deep pink shimmer)
LORAC Beauty and the Beast Lipstick Collection - $36
This lipstick collection features five, full-size lipsticks in mostly rose-based shades, most neutral shades, except for the red. The formula is creamy with a medium to full coverage. The shades include:
- True Beauty (pale mauve)
- Red Rose (petal red)
- Belle-ieve (nude)
- Tres Chic (beige)
- Savior Faire (nude peachy rose)
LORAC Beauty and the Beast Lip Gloss Collection - $34
Th Lip Gloss collection also contains five different shades and these are stunning — I am really liking all of them on their own or over lipstick. These shades coordinate perfectly with the lipstick collection. I love that these are full-size glosses! The shades include:
- True Beauty (pale mauve)
- Red Rose (petal red)
- Belle-ieve (nude)
- Tres Chic (beige)
- Savior Faire (nude peachy rose)
From the gold packaging with red rose to the shades included in each and every product and set, the LORAC Beauty and the Beast collection is absolutely romantic and beautiful — I love everything about it. I can't just recommend one piece of the collection because as a collector, I recommend it all. I want to say that the cheek palette is something that can be used year round, but so are the Lipsticks and the Lip Glosses. The Pro Eye Shadow Palette contains a lot of shadows, but there are a few pastels, and a few shades that I don't think will get a lot of use (there are always a few shades in a palette that don't get used, aren't there?).
LORAC's Beauty and the Beast makeup collection is for sale at loraccosmetics.com and Ulta. You might also find it at Kohl's stores, where I often see LORAC releases. It is limited edition, so do not hesitate.
The LORAC limited edition Disney Beauty and the Beast collection celebrates the availability of Disney's Beauty and Beast live-action movie being available on Blue-Ray and Digital HD, which launched earlier this month. Have you seen it yet? It's purely magical and even better than I expected. Emma Watson as Belle was delightful, but I thought Josh Gad as LeFou stole the show.
