I’m all about nourishing my hair with a great hair mask but I’m not that daring when it comes to color. When I saw the new Moroccanoil Color Depositing Mask Collection, though, I was intrigued.
Moroccanoil Color Depositing Mask Collection
I am a big fan of Moroccanoil Hair Masks and the fact that they are combining care plus color into a dual-benefit formula makes me want to try it.
Each mask is infused with Moroccanoil’s ArganID, and Amino Acid Blend and Apricot Kernal Oil torestore hair’s integrity, increase softness and impart high watt shine!
But what color will I pick?
There are seven curated shades to achieve beautiful color and the color is commitment-free. The color depositing masks deposit pure pigments into the hair while providing the treatment benefits. Whether I want to try one of the fun shades o refresh my tone, I need to decide. And I think that I can add more conditioner to my hair to give my hair a more subtle result.
The color depositing mask collection shades:
Aquamarine
Hibiscus
Platinum
Champagne
Rose Gold
Bordeaux
Cocoa
Seeing that it is the beginning of October, I think that I will go pink and try the Rose Gold or Hibiscus. I think that I can section my hair and only apply the mask to the ends of my hair and comb it in to give it an ombré look. I am pretty sure that the pigments will really be shown where I have highlights and not as much where my roots are dark. Stay tuned — I will show off my color on Instagram.
It is important to note that the pigment is only temporary and it will wash out over time. The pigments are depositing only on the outermost layer of the hair. With regular washing, the pigments will eventually fade out over time.
Buy the Moroccanoil Color Depositing Masks at Sephora. The full size mask is $28 while the travel size mask (like I have pictured) is $7.
