2020 has been rough; it's been rough for all of us. I feel for everyone right now. There are truly no words to explain anything.

I've been struggling to come back to my blog and social channels for awhile, but I am going to make an attempt. If for anything else, I am making an attempt as an outlet for myself. It's why I started my little blog WAY back in 2001. My blog was an outlet to share what I loved about beauty... the good, the bad and everything that I've learned along the way; I am a beauty girl at heart.

During these turbulent times, I am learning to get back to my roots, rediscover a lot of beauty products, do a lot of my own beauty services myself (God help me!) and spend more time playing with makeup.

With all of this extra time on my hands and for how trivial it may sound during the worldwide crisis we are going through, I am not trying to influence you to buy anything or make money. I really am not. I am truly trying to get back into the wonderful community that I have built, because as I said, I miss you. And as much as I realize that the powers that be will probably bury this in the algorithm, I am not caring anymore. It is what it is and I am who I am.

I want to share what I am discovering. I want to share the trials and tribulations of trying to grow out my own lashes whilst going sans eyelash extensions (loving Lashify in the meantime), do my own nails for the first time in over a decade, share how I color my roots and attempt my own highlights, DIY self-tan and more. While beauty is not top of mind for many of you, there are many of you are still doing zoom meetings and conference calls and want to look put together.

One last note. Before I start trying to get on with being the true beauty girl that I am and sharing what I love with you again, I must share that WHEN the time comes for me to fulfill my sponsorships again, I will. I don't know when this will be. No one does at this point, but in full disclosure, I have contracts that were signed before COVID-19 came into existence, or before we know of it.
