Summer 2014: Urban Decay Goes Electric.
/Urban Decay has lost their mind and not just launched a few shade extensions this summer, but they have gone totally electric with a brand new palette and a variety of NEW products that you have to see. From 10 of the brightest, coolest shades to four new deep black eye liner formulas, all waterproof to get you through summer, these are beauties you will want to check out.
First, take a look at the Electric Pressed Pigment Palette ($49). Not to be confused with eyeshadows, these are pressed pigments. Pressed pigments are soft and creamy colors that deliver serious color payout. With popular shades like Chaos and Revolt and new shades like Jilted and Urban, these are some of the truest, bright shades I have ever seen. These pressed pigments really appear as brilliant on skin as they do in the pan.
I am obsessed with the new eyeliners, all bold and black. There is the All Nighter Eyeliner in Perversion ($20), Ink for Eyes in Perversion ($20), 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil in Black Velvet ($20), and Super Saturated Ultra Intense Waterproof Cream Eyeliner in Perversion ($20). I love that they are all waterproof formulas for summer. I love the velvet formula of the 24/7 Glide-On Pencil, but I am probably most excited about the Super-Saturated Cream Eyeliner. This rich black shade glides on with the Perversion Angled Brush ($16) and gives me the line I want; tight, thick or winged. I will be keeping this one in my makeup bag.
Also a new launch is the Heavy Metal Loose Glitter ($20). The glitters are available in six shades and can be easily applied with Bondage Weightless Makeup Adhesive ($14). I personally don't know where or how you'd wear glitter, but I will leave that to the glitter girls out there, because for those of you that do, I know you can rock it well.
Finally, there are two new electric shades of Nail Color ($15 each). I love the Urban Decay nail colors as they are very pigmented and apply evenly in two coats. They wear well, a good five days and always come in great shades, these two new being no exception. The new shades are Chaos, a vibrant cobalt blue with a tonal pearl and Bang, a bright orange with a subtle iridescent pearl. Bang is going to be one of my summer favorite, I can already tell.
