One of my very favorite sales of the year, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is in pre-sale for card holders and opens to the public on Friday, July 17th. This annual event features so many great items at great prices, but of course, my eye turns right to beauty! There are so many limited-edition, beauty exclusives at amazing values this year and my favorite brands like Bobbi Brown, NARS, Philosophy, Clarisonic, MAC and many more are participating. I have been shopping the sale already and have many things on order too. These are my top ten beauty picks and favorites from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
1. Bobbi Brown Secret to Standout Eyes - $85.00
This palette is AMAZING. It has 12 gorgeous shades with matte and shimmer shades that are all totally wearable. Of course, I ordered this one and it was on the top of my list. It also comes with a mini Smokey Eye Mascara, Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink, which is so versatile, and a mini Eyeliner Brush. $133 value
2. MAC Look in a Box Pretty Natural Lip Kit - $29.50
I'm a sucker for a nude lip (as outlined here and here) and this Look in a Box kit has everything you need from MAC and I think it's a must! The nude colors are wearable by all. This kit has a lip pencil, lipstick and lipglass. $47 value
3. NARS Blame it on NARS Cheek Palette - $59.00
NARS makes some of the best cheek products in the business hands down. This palette has such beautiful shades that's it's a not miss. The colors are super flattering with two blushes, one subtle, a bronzer and a highlighter. Plus, it has a mini kabuki brush enclosed. $160 value
4. RevitaLash ADVANCED Duo - $98.00
This is my go-to for longer, stronger, darker lashes. The value here is incredible. It is like getting a six month supply for the price of a three month supply so it is a deal that is not to be missed. I stretch mine out too, because after using for a a few months and getting my lashes how I want, I only use it every other night for maintenance. $196 value
5. MOROCCANOIL Body Set - $92.00
I'm obsessed with MOROCCANOIL for my hair and have been dying to try some of the body care products and this value is a great time to start. With a Body Soufflé, Dry Body Oil and Treatment that I will use on my hair, I am really excited to finally try some of these. I love the scent! $138 value
6. CLARISONIC Mia 2 Mod Floral Sonic Skin Cleansing System - $119.20
If there is one things that I recommend to my personal friends and family for their skin more than anything else, it is a Clarisonic Skin Cleansing System. It is essential for super clean and clear skin hands down. This is the best time to buy the tool as you won't find a better deal. I love the floral pattern on this one - so pretty! $149 value
7. philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser Duo - $53.00
If you've read my blog for anytime, you know that Purity is my favorite facial cleanser. Even though I try others, I always go back to Purity to remove makeup and get my skin super clean and feeling fresh like no other. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated too. It's just so gentle and gets the job done. I love this set as it contains a super 32 oz. size and smaller 8 oz. size so, I keep one in the shower and one at the sink. I may have ordered two or three of these - just sayin'. $94.00 value
8. Laura Mercier Flawless in a Flash Trio - $39.50
Flawless skin is in, and I couldn't think of an easier way to get it than with this handy set from Laura Mercier. This set contains a gentle face polish to start off your routine by exfoliating your skin, then Laura's very popular Foundation Primer Radiance to create the perfect canvas and her Tinted Moisturizer (select from Nude or Sand) to finish off. $55 value
9. Murad Polish, Brighten & Protect Set - $75.00
I'm such a fan of Murad's skin care products and this beautiful colored train case holds some of the brand best products and it really is all you need for your daily skin care routine. It startes with their AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser then follows with my favorite product, the Rapid Age Spot & Pigment Lightening Serum. This kit is worth trying this serum alone! This serum does such a great job at fading away dark spots and uneven skin tone that I don't want to start my day without it. Also included in the set is Renewing Eye Cream and Invisiblur™ Perfecting Shield. $99 value
10. LORAC The Skinny Palette - Black Eyeshadow Palette - $15.00
Everyone, I mean everyone needs to pick up this palette for their makeup bag. My daughter snagged up this little beauty in store and after I saw how great it looked on her, I ordered one too. This palette contains seven highly pigmented, silky shadows in both matte and shimmer finishes so can you can easily create looks from soft and subtle to smoky and sexy. $133 value
Prices go back up on August 3, 2015 so shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale soon. Also, many of these items are limited; when they are gone -- they are gone. I honestly had a VERY hard time picking out just ten items, so I will be following up with more great picks as the sale goes on because I've been shopping like crazy already.
